Joel Hale

Joel Hale has a strong background in clinical operations and management. Joel currently holds the position of Executive Director of Operations at WuXi Clinical, where they have been since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at WuXi Clinical from August 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining WuXi Clinical, Joel was self-employed as an Independent Clinical Operations Consultant from May 2019 to August 2020. Joel also served as the Director of Clinical Affairs at Sinopsys Surgical, Inc. from January 2017 to May 2019. From January 2015 to March 2017, they were the President and Co-Founder of Leading Edge Discovery.

Joel's career also includes significant experience at Ergogenic Research, Inc, where they worked as a Clinical Operations Consultant from 2004 to 2017, providing a range of services to pharmaceutical and device companies in study design, implementation, project management, and regulatory compliance.

Joel served as the Director of Clinical Operations at Venaxis, Inc (formerly AspenBio Pharma) from June 2011 to February 2015. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as President of Eat on the Fly from August 2008 to April 2012.

Earlier in their career, Joel worked as a Senior Project Manager at PPD from 2001 to 2004, and as the Chief Operating Officer at New England Trial Management Network from August 2000 to February 2001. Joel also gained experience as a Manager of Clinical Operations at Quintiles from 1999 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Joel Hale has consistently demonstrated their expertise in clinical operations and management, making him a valuable asset in the industry.

Joel Hale has pursued education in various fields throughout their life. From 1982 to 1984, they studied science at Texas Tech University. Following this, from 1986 to 1987, they attended the US Navy Hospital Corps School, where they focused on nursing and emergency medicine. In 1991, they enrolled in Texas State University and studied pre-med for two years. Recently, in January 2020, Joel obtained a certification in WSET Level 2 from the Napa Valley Wine Academy.
