Kara Washington

Kara Washington currently serves as a Promotions Coordinator at WVIA, where responsibilities include creating and producing promotional campaigns with a focus on video editing and graphic design. Previous roles at WVIA include Programming Assistant and Promotions Assistant. Prior experience encompasses positions such as Catering Specialist at Fairway Market, Content Writer at Smoker's Digest, Production Assistant for the film BlacKkKlansman, and Assistant Director at Ringplay Productions. Kara has also contributed as a House Assistant for The Dundas Centre for the Performing Arts and held Festival Assistant duties with the same production company. Additional experience includes writing for the IAAF World Relays Bahamas and the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism. Kara holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from King's College.
