Pete Morano has a diverse range of work experience in the field of IT. Pete started their career at WVT Communications in 1999 as a Help Desk Technician, where they demonstrated leadership skills by delegating duties and resolving escalated trouble tickets. Pete also took on managerial tasks and was involved in the hiring and training of new technicians. In 2006, they joined Infiniti Handling Systems as an IT Development Manager, where they designed and implemented a commercial and corporate website and maintained hardware and software across branch locations. In 2008, they transitioned to WVT Communications Group as an IT Administrator, and later joined Momentum Telecom in 2012 as an IT Supervisor. In their role at Momentum Telecom, they were responsible for the purchase, configuration, and maintenance of servers, desktops, notebooks, printers, and network equipment. Pete also provided support for operating systems, servers, SQL databases, and end user software systems. Additionally, they ensured compliance with data backup regulations and PCI standards.
Pete Morano attended Mount Saint Mary College from 2001 to 2003, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in IT - Web Technologies. In addition to their academic education, Pete has obtained several certifications. In 2013, they obtained the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA. In the same year, they also earned the CompTIA Network+ certification. In 2014, Pete obtained the CompTIA Server+ and CompTIA Security+ certifications. In 2015, they obtained both the CompTIA Linux+ and CCNA certifications from CompTIA and Cisco respectively.
