Lisa Screws

Lisa Screws currently serves as the Newsroom Manager at WVUA 23, a position held since December 2021, and as a Communications Specialist for Morgan County Schools since April 2020. Prior experience includes working as an Assignment Editor at WHNT News 19 from February 2011 to February 2020, where Lisa supervised over 20 staff members, collaborated with producers for content selection, and managed payroll. Lisa's earlier roles include News Producer at WAAY-TV and Broadcast Journalism Teacher at Madison City Schools. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Communications from The University of Alabama.
