Greg Porter is a Senior Advisor at WWC Global in 2018, specializing in Department of Defense Financial Management.

Prior to WWC Global, Greg led large, complex, diverse organizations both in the U.S. and abroad for more than 35 years. He has extensive experience in resource and financial management, business process improvement, organization design, systems thinking, change management, communications, and project management.

Greg served as the Executive Director for Commander Navy Region Europe, Commander Naval Facilities Engineering Command Europe and Southwest Asia, Fleet Logistics Support Center Yokosuka, and U.S. Naval Forces Japan. In each of those roles, he led initiatives to restructure myriad operational and base support programs and oversaw substantial change. Under his direction, the activities completed end-to-end program reviews, process re-engineering, and major reorganizations and downsizing in order to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.

In his most recent role as Deputy Comptroller U.S. Fleet Forces Command, Greg directed all aspects of Comptroller functions, including budget formulation, execution, accounting, funds administration, and audit readiness. He led many initiatives to increase cross-organizational effectiveness of financial and program managers, instrumental to improving financial operations Greg has also served as an active duty U.S. Navy Supply Corp Officer.

His academic accomplishments include a Master in Business Administration from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Hawaii Pacific University.
