Naoyuki Yamagishi is a seasoned professional in climate policy and environmental management, currently serving as the Director of the Climate & Energy and Oceans & Fisheries Division at WWF Japan since July 2020. With prior experience as the Leader of the Climate and Energy Group at WWF Japan from June 2003 to July 2020, Yamagishi has been instrumental in managing group activities, advocating for climate policies, and fostering partnerships with businesses. Additionally, experience as a Climate Change Policy Officer involved supporting leadership in policy advocacy and business engagement. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in International Relations and Environmental Policy from Boston University (2001-2003) and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Ritsumeikan University (1997-2001). Early education was completed at Yokosuka High School (1994-1997).
