Abdul S. Ansari is a PhD student in Ecology at the University of Wyoming, USA, since August 2021. Concurrently, Abdul serves as a Climate Change and Land Use Planning Expert with FAO Nepal, contributing to ecosystem restoration and climate adaptation initiatives. Additionally, Abdul holds the position of Head of Field Office for the UNDP Nepal Climate Change Support Program and serves as Project Manager at WWF Nepal, with experience in community forestry and climate change adaptation since 2011. Prior experience includes a role as Program Officer with DFID Nepal from 2005 to 2011. Abdul holds a Master's Degree in Forestry Science from the University of Peshawar and a Master's Degree in Social Science focused on Rural Development from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal.
