Zac Harmon has extensive experience in broadcasting and news production, currently serving as the Assignment Desk Manager at FOX 17: WXMI TV since March 2014. In this role, Zac leads a team responsible for coordinating crews and acquiring content for daily operations. Previously, Zac held positions as a Content Producer and Producer, overseeing the 11pm newscast, and worked as a News Editor. Prior experience includes working as a Videographer at WLNS, covering Mid-Michigan news, and an internship with the Detroit Lions' broadcasting division. Zac began a career in media at WGVU as a Production Assistant, engaged in various production roles. Additionally, Zac contributed to the West Michigan Whitecaps as part of the Video Board Production Crew and led the Thornapple Valley Baseball League as Head of Umpires, managing a large group of player-umpires. Zac holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcasting with a Production Emphasis from Grand Valley State University.
