Jake Haupert

Jake Haupert has a diverse and extensive work experience in the travel industry. In 1999, they began their career as the Executive Assistant to the President at Marco Polo Expeditions & Galapagos Cruises. Jake then worked as the Assistant Manager of National Accounts at Cruise West from 2002 to 2004. From 2004 to 2006, Haupert served as a Destination Specialist at Down Under Answers. In 2006, they founded Evergreen Escapes and acted as the Founder & Strategic Advisor until their exit in 2018. The company specialized in small-group tours focused on outdoor adventure and local experiences. In 2017, Haupert co-founded Explorer X, a travel company that designs custom experiences and facilitates small group journeys. From 2015 to the present, they have been the Conscious CEO of The Transformational Travel Council, which focuses on increasing awareness and fostering transformational travel. Since 2019, Haupert has been the Co-Founder & Strategic Advisor of ROAM Beyond Inc., a company that brings the concept of transformational travel to glamping experiences. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Co-Founder of WXO - World Experience Organization.

Jake Haupert attended Southern Oregon University from 1997 to 1999 and obtained a BA degree in Business Hospitality & Tourism. Prior to that, they attended Western Oregon University from 1994 to 1997, studying Psychology. In addition to their degrees, Jake Haupert has obtained additional certifications, including a BAJA WORKSHOP certification from Modern Elder Academy in December 2022 and a World Travel Academy certification in March 2002.
