Emily Stortenbecker is an experienced educator and social worker with a background in psychology and social work. Currently serving as a tutor for University of Kansas Athletics since January 2015, Emily specializes in assisting athletes with lower-level math and psychology courses while developing personalized teaching methods. With ongoing roles as a School Social Worker Intern at Wyandot Mental Health Center and previously at Keystone Learning Services, Emily employs evidence-based interventions for students and facilitates social-emotional support. Prior experience includes supervising youth at Lincoln Parks and Recreation and mentoring freshmen at Northwest Missouri State University, highlighting a commitment to student development and well-being. Emily holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University.
