Subhajit Datta, MD, FACS, CPE, is a distinguished cardiothoracic surgeon and innovator in medical devices. Currently serving as President of SD Cardiothoracic Innovations, LLC since December 2017 and holding five US patents, Subhajit Datta has made significant contributions to medical technology. As an attending surgeon at Wyandot Memorial Hospital since May 2013, Subhajit Datta previously held the role of Chief of ICU/CCU until July 2020. Notably, Subhajit Datta was the sole cardiothoracic surgeon at Marion General Hospital from August 2008 to March 2013, in addition to serving as Physician Lead for Clinical Research at McConnell Heart Health Center. Subhajit Datta also provided consulting at Sunbridge Healthcare as a Physician Advisor. Educationally, Subhajit Datta is a Certified Physician Executive and has completed extensive training across several prestigious institutions, including the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Connecticut Health Center, with initial medical training completed in India.
