Justin Ellsworth

Justin Ellsworth is an experienced educational technology leader currently serving as the Director of Technology at Wyandotte Public Schools since September 2023. With a robust teaching background, Justin has been an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Michigan-Dearborn since August 2013, where responsibilities include teaching graduate courses in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, and Staff Development, as well as facilitating internships. Previous roles include Senior Director of Technology Integration at Detroit Public Schools Community District from December 2018 to September 2023, and Adjunct Faculty at Concordia University Ann Arbor from June 2012 to December 2022, where Justin taught Educational Technology courses. Earlier experiences include Director of Technology at Garden City Public Schools and Instructional Technology Coordinator at Farmington Public Schools, among others. Justin holds a Master of Arts in Educational/Instructional Technology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education in Sciences from Michigan State University.
