Matt Bloomfield is an accomplished football professional with extensive experience in coaching and playing. Currently serving as the Wycombe Wanderers Manager and 1st Team Coach since 2003, Bloomfield has been integral in developing training sessions and individual player growth, leading to significant team successes, including multiple promotions and a Play-Off Final victory. Bloomfield's playing career boasts 557 appearances and 42 goals, with leadership roles as club captain. Additional experience includes a tenure as Head Coach at Colchester United and active involvement in the Professional Footballers' Association, advocating for dementia awareness and concussion substitutes. Bloomfield holds a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Sports Writing and Broadcasting from the University of Staffordshire and completed studies at the University of Liverpool.
