MacIej Syska

Maciej Syska has over 14 years of work experience in the legal field. Maciej served as the Head of Legal and Compliance at Wydawnictwa Szkolne i Pedagogiczne, where they were a member of the Senior Management Team and provided strategic advice to the Management Board. During this time, they also managed the legal department and oversaw various projects such as M&A, restructuring, and GDPR implementation. Prior to that, they worked as an Advocate at Modzelewska & Pańnik law firm and as a Lawyer at Wierzbowski Eversheds and DLA Piper. Maciej also gained experience as an Assistant to the Deputy Commissioner at the Office of the Commissioner for Civil Rights Protection. Maciej Syska started their career as a Trainee at Linklaters and also worked as an Assistant at the Bureau of Constitutional Tribunal of the Republic of Poland and as a Legal Assistant at EBC Solicitors Arkadiusz Stryja sp.k. Maciej has a strong background in various legal areas including compliance, corporate law, and litigation.

Maciej Syska's education history is as follows:

From 2005 to 2010, they attended the University of Warsaw and obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Law.

In 2007, they enrolled at the University of Cambridge and completed a postgraduate diploma in Introduction to English Law and the Law of the European Union. Maciej continued their studies there until 2010.

In 2009, they pursued further education at the University of Paris Panthéon-Assas (Paris 2), where they earned a postgraduate diploma in Certificat de Droit français et européen.

In 2011, they had a study visit to Oxford University, focusing on Law.

During the same year, they also attended the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and obtained a postgraduate diploma in competition law.

Their highest level of education was achieved at the University of Warsaw from 2010 to 2016, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Law.
