Josh Hatton

Josh Hatton has over 13 years of experience in the visual effects industry. Josh is currently working as a Creative Director at Wylie Co. since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at FuseFX from November 2020 to April 2021, where they held the position of FX Supervisor/CG Supervisor and later as CG Supervisor. From November 2019 to November 2020, they worked as a Sr. FX Artist and Motion Designer for Freelance, self-employed. Before that, they worked at Moving Picture Company as a CG/FX Supervisor from December 2017 to November 2019, and as a Senior FX Artist from October 2017 to December 2017. Josh also worked at Digital Domain 3.0 as a Senior FX Artist from May 2017 to October 2017. Prior to that, they worked at The Mill as a Digital FX Supervisor from April 2010 to May 2017, at Off the Clock as a Visual Effects Artist from 2007 to 2010, at Asylum Visual Effects as an FX TD from February 2008 to January 2009, at Asylum VFX as a Supervisor/Effects TD from 2008 to 2009, and at Asylum as a CG Supervisor (Commercials) in 2008.

Josh Hatton attended California State University, Northridge from 1989 to 1991, where they studied Art/Art Studies, General. Josh then transferred to California State University, Long Beach and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from 1991 to 1993.
