TJ Burke has a diverse work experience in the visual effects industry. TJ started their career in 2005 as a CG Artist at Blackpoint Studios. TJ then worked at Industrial Light and Magic from 2005 to 2007, initially as a Layout Artist and later as a Mocap Artist. From 2007 to 2008, they served as a Project Lead at Black Point Studios. At Hydraulx, they worked as a Lead Animator from 2009 to 2012. TJ also had a role as an Animator at hy*drau*lx during the same period. From 2012 to 2016, they were the CG Supervisor at Brewster Parsons. Later, at Digital Domain, they worked as a Previz / Postviz artist from 2016 to 2017, contributing to the Marvel film Black Panther and developing pipeline tools using Python. Currently, they hold the role of Head of 3D at Wylie Visual Effects since November 2017.
TJ Burke attended Expression from 1999 to 2004 and obtained a BAS degree in Animation.
