Ross Nicholas has extensive work experience in various marketing and management roles. Ross started their career as a Journalist at Daily News in 1965 and worked there until 1978. After that, they joined the West Australian Trotting Association as a Marketing Manager from 1979 to 1981. Ross then worked as a Marketing Manager at Melbourne Football Club from 1982 to 1986. Following that, they served as the General Manager at Fitzroy Football Club from 1986 to 1987. In 1988, they joined West Coast Eagles as the General Manager of Marketing until 2001. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Consultant at Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific and later became the Senior Vice President of PR & Corporate Marketing.
Ross Nicholas attended Hale School in Perth from 1959 to 1964. During the same period, they also completed their Leaving Certificate at Hale College.
