Cat Butler has extensive work experience in the events and sales industry. They started their career in 2006 as an Event & Account Coordinator at Wolseley, where they managed and delivered over 100 events, including VIP events and incentive travel. They also conducted interviews for event coordinators and assistants. After that, they worked as a Logistical Event Manager as a freelancer, managing events on a project basis. In 2010, they became a Project Manager at Zibrant, where they managed meetings and conferences for a pharmaceutical company, built client relationships, and managed supplier relationships. In 2011, they joined Grass Roots as a Project Manager, where they led the planning stages for a large-scale UK event for a global company. They then returned to Zibrant as a Senior Project Manager, taking ownership of complex congresses and managing project teams remotely. In 2014, they became an Event Director at Zibrant LIVE!, where they managed and developed event managers and executives. In 2017, they took on the role of Director, Operations - Project & Onsite Mgmt. | US Event Solutions at BCD Meetings & Events, before being promoted to Director, Client Engagement in 2019. In 2022, they became the Director of Sales at BCD Meetings & Events before transitioning to their current role as VP, Experience & Event Solutions at Wynford in 2023.

Cat Butler attended the University of Brighton from 2000 to 2004, where they pursued a degree in Tourism Management. Their field of study primarily focused on business, travel, and tourism.
