Wyoming Public Schools
Dr. Jennifer Slanger has extensive work experience in the field of education. Dr. Jennifer started their career as a School Psychologist at Montcalm Area ISD in 2003 and worked there until 2004. In 2004, they joined Wyoming Public Schools as a School Psychologist and later served as the Principal from 2010 to 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Teaching and Learning at Wyoming Public Schools, which they have been in since July 2019.
Dr. Jennifer Slanger earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Family Studies from Central Michigan University during the period of 1997 to 2000. Dr. Jennifer then pursued their Master's degree and a Specialist in Psychological Services from the same university between 2001 to 2005. Dr. Slanger later completed their Ed.D. in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University from 2011 to 2014.
