Megan Amoss, CBNT, CRO, serves as the Assistant Chief Engineer at WYPR since July 2022, contributing to the public radio station's technical operations. With extensive experience in the broadcasting industry, including a tenure as Chief Operator at WTMD from 2012 to 2022, Megan possesses strong expertise in radio management. Concurrently, involvement with the Baltimore City Pipe Band as Pipe Major and Pipe Sergeant reflects leadership in the musical arts. As a freelance artist and illustrator since 2008, Megan specializes in fine art and commissioned portraits. Previous roles include Traffic Manager and Systems Analyst at Grace and St. Peter's Parish, as well as supervisory positions in student support services at Towson University. Education includes summa cum laude degrees in Music Theory and Composition from Notre Dame of Maryland University and Art + Design from Towson University, complemented by ongoing private studies in piping and voice.
