Hanna Hlazkova

Hanna Hlazkova is an experienced educator and community leader with a diverse background in teaching and organizational roles. Currently serving as the Homes for Ukraine Liaison Officer at Wyre Forest District Council since July 2022, Hanna has made significant contributions to education as an ESL Teacher at English Language School Lardan since September 2014, developing curricula and preparing students for various English proficiency exams. As a co-founder and board member of Community Cultural Center Shelter+, Hanna has successfully hosted camps for youth, trained volunteers, and organized community activities. Previous roles include English Translator for the Canadian Embassy and U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, and Mission Trip Coordinator at St. Paul UMC in Columbus, GA, where Hanna facilitated numerous mission trips and fundraising campaigns. Hanna holds a CELTA certification and advanced degrees in English and Ukrainian language and literature from Kryvyi Rih State Pedagogical University.
