Wyss Zurich
Oskar Klockar is a seasoned electrical engineer with extensive experience in electronics hardware and firmware development across various companies. Oskar has served as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Wyss Zurich since November 2020, and prior to that held a role as a Hardware and Firmware Design Engineer at Varian Medical Systems from January 2011 to October 2020, specializing in radio-therapy machines, VHDL, Verilog, and automation of design processes. Earlier experience includes positions as a Hardware Design Engineer at Mettler & Fuchs AG, ABB, and ÅF, focusing on industrial and military systems, power electronics, and digital hardware design. Oskar's career began as an Application Engineer at Altera, providing technical support and sales for FPGA and PLD devices in the Nordic region. Educational qualifications include a BS in electrical engineering and economics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, complemented by foundational studies in mathematics and science at Umeå University.
