Roland Siegwart

Co-director, Wyss Translational Center Zurich at Wyss Zurich

Roland Siegwart is a prominent academic and industry leader in the field of autonomous systems, currently serving as a Professor at ETH Zurich and holding the position of Vice President for Research and Corporate Relations. Since August 2022, Roland Siegwart has been a member of the Board of Directors at Voliro Airborne Robotics. As Co-Director of the Wyss Translational Center Zurich since January 2015, Roland Siegwart has contributed to the advancement of robotics technology. Additional board roles include positions at Neue Zürcher Zeitung, Komax, and Evatec AG, among others. A distinguished educator, Roland Siegwart previously held a professorship at EPFL from 1996 to 2006 and earned both a PhD in Mechatronics and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich.
