Thomas VanMatre

Thomas VanMatre has a diverse work experience in various leadership and strategic roles. Thomas started their career in 2002 as a Geospatial Intelligence Analyst in the Missouri National Guard. In 2005, they joined the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) as a Geospatial Intelligence Officer, where they delivered world-class geospatial intelligence. During their tenure at NGA, Thomas also served as a Counter-terrorism Liaison Officer, contributing to technical and programmatic cooperation in countering terrorism.

In 2006, Thomas became a Military Intelligence Officer in the US Air Force Reserve, where they were responsible for intelligence operations and support functions, particularly in the Asia-Pacific region. Thomas fulfilled this role until 2012.

Thomas transitioned to the private sector in 2016, joining DigitalGlobe as a Senior Manager focusing on Asia-Pacific Business Development and later as a Product Development Lead for International Defense & Intelligence. In 2019, they moved to Maxar Technologies, serving as a Senior Manager and then Director of Global Business Development.

Thomas's most recent positions include a role at Satellogic as the Vice President of Global Business Development, where they contributed to the company's global growth and expansion. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Strategy at Wyvern, where they are responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives.

Thomas also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Management from Webster University.
