Martijn Jegerings has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Starting in 2006, they worked as a Freelance for vanGrotel+Jegerings until 2014. From 2007 to 2011, they held the position of Project Manager & Creative at Smaac, where they contributed to international promotional campaigns for key clients. In 2010, they took a break for traveling to Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. In 2011, they worked as a Freeski Instructor at Weisse Arena Gruppe.
In 2013, Jegerings joined Protest Sportswear, initially as Coordinator Copy & PR, and later as Head of Global Marketing, leading a team and successfully launching the brand into new markets. Martijn also developed a global Product Information Management system and implemented a customer service platform.
In 2016, Jegerings founded Open Wear, a digitally native vertical brand in the outdoor apparel industry. Martijn bootstrapped the startup, achieving rapid online growth and successfully completed two crowdfunding campaigns.
Jegerings then joined MAMMUT Sports Group AG in 2018, where they held various positions, including Product Manager eCommerce, Head of Digital Marketing, and Head of Brand Strategy & Data Intelligence. Martijn played a crucial role in driving the company's digital transformation and data-driven decision-making.
Most recently, in 2022, Jegerings became the Chief Marketing Officer at X-BIONIC®, where they oversee marketing strategies and initiatives for the company.

Martijn Jegerings has a strong educational background, starting with their pre-university education at Peelland College from 1997 to 2003. Martijn then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in International Business at Tilburg University, attending from 2003 to 2007. Following this, Martijn obtained a Master's Degree in Marketing Management from the same institution, completing their studies from 2006 to 2008.
In addition to their formal education, Martijn has also obtained several certifications. In August 2018, they acquired the Digital Sales Certification, Ecommerce Analytics: From Data to Decisions, Google Analytics IQ, and The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certifications from Google. In September 2014, they earned the Creativity, Innovation, and Change certificate from Coursera Verified Certificates.
