Luigi Ferro

Luigi Ferro has over 19 years of work experience in the legal field. Luigi is currently the Development Legal Director at X-ELIO, where they provide expert legal advice in development and construction stages, as well as directs and coordinates their team's performance. Previously, they worked at X-Elio Energy as the Regional Legal Affairs Manager, overseeing legal support in various regional markets and managing a team. Luigi also served as a Legal Counsel at X-Elio Energy, focusing mainly on the Japanese market and coordinating the local legal team. Prior to that, Luigi worked at Gestamp Solar EMENA as a Legal Counsel, negotiating joint venture agreements and leading tender processes. Luigi also coordinated the Japanese legal team in supporting project development activities. Before that, they worked at Gestamp Asetym Solar Italia as a Legal Counsel, actively involved in creating a pipeline and providing legal support for business activities. Luigi also managed corporate matters. Luigi also had a role as a Legal Counsel on secondment at Gestamp Asetym Solar Japan, where they assessed the Japanese market, negotiated real estate agreements, and assisted in development activities. Earlier in their career, they worked at Giorgio Meo Avvocati Law Firm as a Lawyer, drafting, revising, and negotiating commercial agreements, as well as representing clients before Tribunals. Luigi started their career as a Lawyer at Piga Law Firm and interned at the Italian Embassy in Madrid.

Luigi Ferro completed their Master in Corporate Law from ISDE in the years 2016-2018. Prior to that, from 1996-2002, they pursued a degree in Law with a focus on International law at Luiss Guido Carli University. In 1998-1999, they also took part in an Erasmus program at Radboud University, where they studied Law.
