CEO, Founder at X - ENDER

Alfredo Mensi has a diverse work experience history. Alfredo is currently the CEO and Founder of X - ENDER S.R.L. since October 2019. In September 2021, they also founded PapayaStudios. Alfredo is also an author, having published a book titled "How to save the Amazon rainforest: A proposed open-source project that could save an entire environment." Alfredo worked as a Designer and Supervisor at SAMS from May to August 2019, and earlier, from October 2016 to March 2017, they were a Designer and Project Co-Supervisor for the project "A. M. R." at SAMS. Prior to that, Alfredo worked as a Mechanical Technician and Supervisor at Mecanica Automotriz David from July to September 2015. Alfredo also volunteered for a local organization from April to July 2015.

Alfredo Mensi began their education at Liceo Scientifico Benini, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued their higher education at Politecnico di Milano and is currently enrolled in the Ingegneria program. In 2015, Alfredo gained practical experience through stage programs at both the Aerospace Engineering Department and the Mechanical Engineering Department at Politecnico di Milano.

Alfredo also obtained language training by attending EF International Language Campuses in 2017 and 2018, where they focused their studies on English. Additionally, they completed a language program at EF International Language Campuses in 2019.

To enhance their skill set, Alfredo pursued various certifications. In 2020, they achieved the Google IT Support Professional Certificate from Coursera, as well as the Epidemics certificate from Hong Kong University X through edX. Alfredo also completed the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing certification from Google.

In 2022, Alfredo obtained additional certifications such as the Aerospace Masterclass: Aircraft Design from Udemy and Quantum Computing Basics from the Swiss Institute for Disruptive Innovation. Moreover, they hold a Diploma in Theory and Musical Solfeggio, obtained from the Conservatory of Novara in 2013. Additionally, Alfredo acquired pilot certification (Attestato di Pilota APR) from ENAC - Ente Nazionale per l'Aviazione Civile in November 2020 and earned a TOEFL certification from ETS in December 2019.

Furthermore, Alfredo recently completed a NanoDegree program in Flying Car and Autonomous Flight Engineering from Udacity, which took place from 2020 to 2021.

X - ENDER

X - ENDER is developing a decentralized control system for groups of smart items to deliver a fully scalable and safe autonomy. This system could be intended as an undefined master-slave logic with multiple thematic common registers with relative prioritizations. The mission is to deliver value to the world in the fields that are most sensibleforour subsistence: food production and emergency response. In particular, X - ENDER is designing an heavy (250kgs of payload) autonomous drone to fight wildfires and for aerial agriculture, based on decentralized control system being cited first. The aerial drones MANTA, the land drones OX and the SKYSHIELD sensoring architecture will be the beginning of a new ecosystem of services and products that will aesthetically and functionally evolve our approach to existentialism, irrationalism and idealism. X - ENDER aims to provide a more scalable and affordable solution to these issues, by providing a way to stop wildfires before it’s too late, by merging extensive and precision agriculture advantages, by leveling up logistics and by making possible the deployment of drones through commercial blockchain smart-contracts, a staking collateral principle and a pay-per-service leasing business model. Expecting as outcome reducing any operational errors, inefficiencies, wastes, automating and optimizing any aerial and heavy duty tasks, providing a system capable of autonomous intervention in situations of environmental emergencies (in particular for wildfires, but also for rescue and survival search during floods, earthquakes). The ecosystem's purpose is to reduce operational costs of targeted tasks, while ensuring interoperability of the services into multiple application fields and creating a safe and solid business model capable of changing completely the customer-service relation.
