Tim Messner

Tim Messner is an accomplished legal and finance professional with significant experience in various high-profile roles. Tim began a career in accounting as a Supervising Senior Accountant at KPMG from 1996 to 1999, later transitioning to the legal field. At Brown Raysman Millstein Felder & Steiner, Tim worked as an Associate from August 2002 to August 2004. Tim continued to build expertise in corporate law at Dish Network, holding several positions including Corporate Counsel, Director and Senior Corporate Counsel, Senior Vice President & Deputy General Counsel, and culminating as Executive Vice President & General Counsel from March 2012 to April 2017. Since February 2025, Tim has served as the Chief Legal Officer for the X Games. Tim holds a Juris Doctor degree from The University of Connecticut School of Law, obtained from 2000 to 2002, and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Penn State University, earned from 1992 to 1996.
