Elyse Klaidman is currently the CEO at X in a Box. Prior to this, they were a contractor for the XQ Institute from February 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Director of Educational Partnerships at Pixar Animation Studios from August 2016 to September 2017. Elyse was also the co-creator and co-founder of Pixar in a Box from January 2014 to January 2019. This online resource explores the academic concepts behind Pixar Animation Studios’ filmmaking process and has had over 3 million users to date. Elyse has also been the Director of Archives and Exhibitions at Pixar Animation Studios from September 2009 to January 2019, as well as the Director of Pixar University and Archives from August 2009 to September 2016. Elyse started working at Pixar Animation Studios in 2000 as an exhibitions curator and eventually became the Dean of Art and Film from October 1998 to July 2009.

Elyse Klaidman earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with honors from Wesleyan University in Fine Art. Elyse then went on to earn their Masters Degree in Education from American University in Special Education - Learning Disabilities.
