Anna Piekarska

Anna Piekarska is currently a QA Lead at X-Team. Anna has over eight years of experience in Quality Assurance and has worked with a variety of companies, big and small.

Anna started their career in Quality Assurance at Cognifide in January 2013. Anna quickly rose through the ranks and was promoted to QA Engineer in charge of developing a test plan and strategy to provide estimates of time and resources, which resulted in more cost-effective testing and shorter development times.

In their role as QA Engineer, Anna also organized retrospectives and planned meetings to improve workflow patterns based on past project data. Anna was also responsible for documenting requirements and data analysis that improved productivity and reduced technical debt. In addition, they created End-to-End workflow procedures to develop applications and facilitate Quality Assurance protocols.

Anna’s work in Quality Assurance has resulted in many successes over the years. Anna has implemented accessibility and security audits to increase software scalability and integrity. Anna has also facilitated performance testing to ensure program responsiveness and stability. In addition, they have met with the development team to present new User Interface and User Experience features that improved retention and user satisfaction. Finally, they have provided detailed documentation for test scripts, test scenarios, test data, pre-conditions, and test outcomes to maximize organization and inform future testing activities.

Anna has also created reports on test results, test progress, and product quality to present to the development team and streamline processes. Anna has also overseen Quality Assurance for an application built for Lincoln Motor Company, which delivered an exceptional User Experience.

Thanks to their hard work and dedication, Anna has become an expert in Quality Assurance. Anna is a valuable asset to any company lucky enough to have their on their team.

Anna Piekarska is an engineer who specialized in web application security. Anna has a degree from Poznan University of Technology and certification from Niebezpiecznik.pl in Atakowanie i Ochrona Webaplikacji and Bezpieczeństwo w testach oprogramowania. Anna is also certified by the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in ISTQB Foundation Level.

They are on a team with Michal Kawalec - Lead Software Engineer, Seth Roskos - Software Engineering Lead, and Michał Miszczyszyn - Tech Lead. Their manager is Josh Johnston, CTO.
