Juan Tejeria

Juan Tejeria has been working in the tech industry for over three years. Juan started out as a DevOps Engineer at X-Team, where they were responsible for implementing and maintaining all digital infrastructure. Juan also dealt with production rotations and issues 24x7 as one of the main reference on NOC calls. After a year, Juan was promoted to Lead DevOps Engineer, where they led a team of up to 11 DevOps Engineers. In this role, they were responsible for managing and executing all of the initiatives within the Digital Org of Beachbody. Juan worked closely with Development and QA as a key player within Operations to ensure successful deployments and no downtime within our services.

Juan designed and led the execution of newer versions of the CI/CD pipelines in all areas of the company. Juan moved out from jenkins automations to Travis and Harness as CI/CD tools with full automation of the deployment process with automated tests including functional and load testing. Juan also developed and implemented Cloud Strategies, including security best practices, and cost optimization reducing cloud costs drastically. Juan used dashboards and insight of both services and infrastructure to optimize utilization of resources within the cloud.

Juan Tejeria has a degree in Information Systems from the Universidad de la República and a degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Montevideo.
