Brian Rosen

Software Engineer, Early-stage Project at X, the moonshot factory

Brian Rosen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brian began their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Pixar Animation Studios in 1993, where they played a key role in the development of the film queue system for Toy Story and contributed to the rendering/production pipeline. Brian remained with Pixar until 2018. Concurrently, Brian also worked as a Composer for Music vs Theater starting in 2000. Additionally, they served as a Black Rock Ranger Shift Lead at Burning Man from 2005 onwards. In 2016, Brian joined The Speakeasy SF as a Performer, participating in an immersive theater production set in the 1920s. In 2018, they became a Board Member/Technology Consultant for West Edge Opera. Most recently, in 2021, Brian assumed the position of Software Engineer for an early-stage project at X, the moonshot factory.

Brian Rosen attended Princeton University from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
