Chaokun Gong

Chaokun Gong has extensive work experience in engineering and research roles. They are currently employed at X, the moonshot factory as a Staff Hardware Engineer focusing on Materials R&D. Prior to this, Chaokun worked at Loon as a Materials Scientist/Engineer for six years. They also have experience at UCLA, where they served as a Research Assistant, Teaching Associate, and Teaching Assistant. Additionally, Chaokun had an internship at Pavad Medical as an R&D Engineer, where they improved fabrication processes and analyzed data for a biomedical actuator device. They also volunteered as a Patent Technology Translator at Qingdao Gaoxiao Patent Firm.

Chaokun Gong completed their education in a chronological manner as follows:

From 2002 to 2006, they attended Qingdao University of Science and Technology and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Polymer Science and Engineering.

Later, from 2006 to 2008, they pursued further studies at UCLA, where they earned a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering.

Finally, from 2009 to 2013, Chaokun Gong continued their education at UCLA and completed a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering.
