Minh Nguyen

Minh Nguyen has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. They are currently working at X, the moonshot factory as a Software Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at VMware as a Staff Software Engineer, where they were responsible for creating web applications and data visualizations using various technologies such as TypeScript, Three.js, D3.js, RxJS, Angular, Sass, AWS, Java, and ExtJS.

Before their role at VMware, Minh was a Senior Software Engineer at Zignal Labs. They also worked as a Freelancer for a brief period. Prior to that, Minh worked at Live Earth as a UX Developer, where they received an award for developing a native iOS version of the company's flagship product. They were also the tech lead and lead developer for a team that created a real-time command and control dashboard.

Minh also had roles at Potomac Fusion as a Senior Software Engineer, where they worked on a secure file transfer service, and at Invertix Corporation as a Software Developer, where they designed and developed a RESTful API and widgets.

Minh's early work experience includes a role at Lockheed Martin as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various Java projects, and at CATT Lab as a Web Developer, where they collaborated on developing an online geospatial map for real-time traffic data.

Minh Nguyen obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Management from the University of Maryland, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. After that, Minh pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence at The Johns Hopkins University, studying from 2008 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Minh also obtained several certifications. In December 2012, they became a Cloudera Certified Developer for Apache Hadoop (CDH4) from Cloudera. In July 2012, Minh also earned the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification from the Scrum Alliance.
