Qianyu Zhang

Qianyu Zhang has extensive work experience in the technology industry. They started their career as a Research Assistant at the Australian National University in 2011, where they focused on spatial-temporal problem-solving. From 2012 to 2013, Qianyu worked as a Vacation Scholar at CSIRO, where they investigated how missing sensor values impact classification performance. In 2014, they became a Summer Research Scholar at NICTA, where they addressed the problem of identifying context-based words as image descriptors. At Google, from 2016 to 2018, Qianyu worked as a Software Engineer. They currently hold the position of Staff ML Engineer at X, the moonshot factory since 2018.

Qianyu Zhang attended The Australian National University from 2010 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science degree with honors. Their field of study was Computer Science.
