Sanam Mozaffari

Sanam Mozaffari has extensive work experience in optical and opto-mechanical engineering. They began their career as a Special Events Parking employee at the University of California San Diego in 2012. They then moved on to various research roles at UC San Diego, including working in the Theoretical Neuroscience and Engineering Lab, Integrated Systems Neuroengineering, and the Lal Laboratory for Nano-bio-imaging and Devices. In 2015, Sanam started their Ph.D in Vision Science at UC Berkeley, which they completed in 2021. During this time, they also worked as an Optical Engineer at X, the moonshot factory in 2019. Currently, they are employed as an Opto-mechanical Design Engineer at X, the moonshot factory.

Sanam Mozaffari completed a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at the University of California, San Diego in 2015. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Vision Science/Physiological Optics at the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2021.
