With thirty-three years of experience in criminal and counterintelligence investigations, Schutz previously served as an FBI Special Agent for twenty-two years, rising to the role of Counterintelligence Supervisory Special Agent and later as the National Security Branch Assistant Special Agent in Charge of the FBI San Juan Field Office.
