James Dorfman

James Dorfman is a software engineer with extensive experience in various domains, including payment systems, blockchain technology, and market data systems. Currently employed at Company X since November 2024, James is focused on X Payments. Previously, from January 2022 to November 2024, James worked at Blockstream on the Liquid Network, a Bitcoin sidechain with over $100M in total value locked. Earlier roles include contributions to the Electronic Trading Technology team at Citadel, developing NLP features for Apple's Siri Proactive Intelligence team, leading a self-driving car project as Software Team Lead at WATonomous, and experience in data science at Kik Interactive and interactive application development at Maplesoft.
