Yanping Hu

Yanping Hu is a seasoned professional in clinical sciences and research development, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Sciences at X4 Pharmaceuticals since October 2020. In this role, Yanping Hu conducts clinical efficacy and safety data reviews, analyzes clinical trial data, and prepares communication materials for internal teams and external publications. Previously, Yanping Hu held the position of Associate Director at Sanofi Genzyme, contributing to the transition of projects from preclinical research to clinical trials, and supporting global clinical studies focused on biomarkers. With experience as a project head, principal scientist, and post-doctoral research fellow, Yanping Hu has a strong background in preclinical discovery and has investigated various anticancer drug candidates. Yanping Hu earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Pharmacology from Université Victor Segalen and a Master’s degree in Pharmacology from Zhengzhou University.
