Janice Compton, CMC, CHTS-PW has over 20 years of experience in healthcare management, medical billing/coding, reimbursement management, and claims administration. Janice is the Principal Owner of Revenue Solution Specialists, LLC where they establish and supports revenue cycle enhancements for various medical disciplines. Janice has expertise in medical billing for physical and occupational therapy, home health, genetic testing, chiropractic, radiology, pain management, and more. Janice also conducts focused reviews to ensure compliance with documentation and billing regulations set by CMS and federal and state regulations.

Previously, Janice served as the VP of Revenue Cycle Management at Xact Healthcare Solutions, Inc. Janice was responsible for overseeing revenue cycle operations.

Janice also worked at MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Billing Compliance Auditor, where they conducted prospective and retrospective documentation audits to ensure compliance with CMS regulations and institutional policies.

Before that, Janice worked at Access MediQuip as the Director of Revenue Management, overseeing revenue cycle management, collections, and claims administration. Janice has extensive knowledge of ICD-9 codes, medical terminology, and healthcare insurance protocols.

Janice has also held positions as the Director of Revenue Management at US Physical Therapy and as the Manager of National Bill Review & PPO Coordinator at Health Benefit Management.

Janice Compton, CMC, CHTS-PW completed their education in 2011 at Houston Community College. During this time, they pursued a degree in Practice Workflow & Information Management Redesign Specialist with a focus on HITECH Health IT.
