Simon Sharon is a dynamic and passionate R&D leader with extensive experience in the medical device industry. They served as General Manager and VP of R&D at Anorad Israel from 2001 to 2008 and later held the position of VP of R&D at IceCure Medical from 2008 to 2013, where they led the development of an innovative cryogenic ablation system. Simon has been involved in various leadership roles, including COO at Microbot Medical from 2013 to 2016, and is currently the General Manager and CTO at Microbot Medical since 2021. Additionally, they have been a BOD member and Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board at XACT Robotics since 2014, and served as Chief Technology Officer at MEDX Xelerator LP from 2016 to 2018. Simon graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1988.
