Jay Birong is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Xactus, where they oversee and implement the company's information security strategy. With nearly two decades of experience in the information technology sector, Jay has a strong background in safeguarding organizational assets and regulatory compliance. Prior to Xactus, Jay held significant leadership positions, including Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of Information Technology at Special Counsel, where they developed robust IT strategies and executed key initiatives in the legal solutions industry. Jay is committed to fostering continuous improvement and building resilient information technology and security programs. Currently, they also serve on the Customer Advisory Board at Vanta and the Future Skills Board for Cybersecurity at General Assembly.
