Daniel MacIas

Daniel Macias is a seasoned IT and security professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations in leadership roles. Currently serving as a Member of Technical Staff at xAI since October 2024, Daniel previously held the position of VP of IT & Enterprise Security at Newfront from April 2022 to October 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing IT and security strategies and fostering a security-focused culture. Earlier roles included Senior Manager and Corporate Infrastructure Security Manager at Segment, Head of IT & IT Security at Bugcrowd Inc, and IT Manager at GoodData, among others. Daniel's career commenced in the US Navy as an Operations Specialist, and education credentials consist of studies at Golden Gate University and San Diego Miramar College.
