Walter Gilbert

Walter Gilbert is currently the Head of HR at both X and xAI, where they lead the talented People team. With previous experience as the Director of HRBPs at Reddit, Inc. and an HR Business Partner at SpaceX, Walter has cultivated a diverse background in human resources. They have also held positions such as HR Manager at DAQRI and Executive Search Consultant at Healthcare Executive Search. Walter completed an Executive internship at Target and served as a Legislative Intern for the Office of the President of California State Senate in 2013. They pursue studies in Human Resources Management at UCLA Extension and Economics at Utrecht University, alongside holding a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Economics from the University of California, Davis.
