John Ingve Eielsen

John Ingve Eielsen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. John Ingve is currently serving as the Chief Technology & Product Officer at Xait, where they oversee the product portfolio lifecycle and acts as the Data Protection Officer. In this role, they are responsible for creating and maintaining the Xait Product Vision and Strategy, managing the product portfolio, identifying risks and opportunities, coaching and developing R&D and Product teams, and ensuring the development of secure, high-quality software.

Prior to their current position, Eielsen worked at Tieto as the Lead Enterprise Architect, where they played a crucial role in developing the technical roadmap and architecture of the Energy Components (EC) hydrocarbon production data management and accounting software.

Before that, they were at National Oilwell Varco, where they first served as the Manager of the Software Engineering Core Team, leading a team that focused on providing common functionality and capabilities to software divisions globally. John Ingve then took on the role of Senior Advisor in Information Management.

Eielsen's career also includes a Department Manager position at Lyse Energi AS, where they were responsible for process development, risk management, quality management, and information management. John Ingve also worked as an Enterprise Architect and a Team Manager Integration at the same company.

Additionally, they served as a Software Developer at National Oilwell Varco and as a Lecturer at the Norwegian School of Information Technology. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Surveyor at Blom Maritime and as a Medic in the Norwegian Armed Forces.

John Ingve Eielsen obtained a Master of Technology degree in Distributed Information Systems and Computing from Brunel University London, where they studied from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems at The Norwegian School of Information Technology, attending from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, John Eielsen has obtained several certifications. In 2021, they obtained the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from PeopleCert. In 2013, they became a Kaplan - Norton Balanced Scorecard Certified Graduate, certified by The Palladium Group. It is worth noting that they also hold a Scrum Master certification, but information on the institution and the year of obtaining are not available.
