Matthew Melnyk

Matthew Melnyk is an experienced geologist and operations director with a diverse background in mineral exploration and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Xali Gold, Matthew focuses on developing a second business platform in Western Mexico to enhance small-scale production. In addition, Matthew provides geological expertise as a Geological Advisor for Atha Energy Corp. and previously for Consolidated Uranium, where responsibilities included identifying uranium and copper mineralization. Matthew has held significant roles in various companies, including Vice President Exploration at Silver Bull Resources and Senior Geological Consultant at Titan Mining Corporation, contributing to major projects across North and South America. Matthew holds a BA in Geology from the University at Buffalo, an MSc in Structural Geology from The University of Southern Mississippi, and pursued PhD studies in Structural Geology at the University of Toronto.
