Rovshan Ismayilov

Rovshan Ismayilov has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rovshan started their career at "Z & R Ekspress LTD" as a Co-Founder and Deputy Director on economic problems from September 2004 to January 2006. Rovshan then joined "\"Az.Muhendis-Insaat\" LTD" as a Procurement Manager from January 2006 to December 2006. In 2007, they worked at Santral Elektrik as a Manager on international relationship from January to August, and later joined Ulusoy LTD as a Financial Manager from September 2007 to April 2009. Rovshan continued their career as a Financial Specialist at Akkord Industry Construction Investment Corporation OJSC from May 2009 to October 2009. From January 2011 to October 2015, they held the position of Head of Foreign Exchange (FOREX) Operations Unit / Treasury Department at TuranBank OJSC. Currently, they work at Xalq Bank, where they began as the Head of Treasury Department in October 2015 and then became the Head of Risk Management department from October 2023 onwards.

Rovshan Ismayilov completed their Bachelor's degree in International Economic Relations at Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry in 2007. Rovshan then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on General Management at Qafqaz Universiteti, completing it in 2011. Rovshan is currently studying Economics & Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and is expected to finish in 2023.
