Jean-Étienne Tremblay has a diverse work experience in various fields. Jean-Étienne started their career as a Biomedical Optics intern at École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2012, where they worked until April 2013. Following that, they were a Medical Physics intern at Hôpital Notre-Dame from May to August 2013. In 2014, they worked as an RF Engineering Intern at MDA Corporation for the summer. In 2017, they joined Ciena as a Photonic R&D intern from May to August. Currently, they are working at Xanadu as a Photonic Systems Engineer since January 2021.
Jean-Étienne Tremblay's education history is as follows. Jean-Étienne completed their PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley from 2015 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Engineering Physics from Polytechnique Montréal from 2011 to 2015. Before starting their undergraduate studies, they completed a DEC (Diploma of College Studies) in Natural Sciences from Collège de Bois-de-Boulogne from 2009 to 2011.
