Jake S.

Jake S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jake started their career as an E-Commerce Production Assistant at Macromedia in 2003. Jake later worked as a Creative at Apple Retail in 2005 and as an Intern at Brick Design in 2007.

In 2006, Jake joined Pacific Bay School as a Communications Manager and Teacher, and they held this position until 2014.

Jake then transitioned into the corporate world, starting at Blackbaud in 2014. Jake initially worked as a Customer Solutions Specialist and later became a Knowledge Specialist. In 2016, they became a Business Systems Analyst III and then moved into an Associate Product Manager role. Eventually, they became a Product Manager, leading a cross-functional Agile software development team focused on modernizing the API for Blackbaud K-12.

In 2019, Jake joined The Enrollment Management Association as an Associate Director of Marketing Operations. Jake played a key role in designing and building marketing sites, migrating sites from Joomla to Webflow, and implementing and managing Hubspot.

In 2021, Jake joined 8020 as the Head of Business Development. Jake built a custom CRM and automated various processes, while also selling the company's largest projects to date. Jake later took on the role of Growth + Operations, where they pushed initiatives to increase visibility and generate leads, as well as improving internal workflows and documentation.

Most recently, Jake joined Xano in 2023 as a Customer Success Associate.

Jake S. attended the Academy of Art University from 2001 to 2007. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a focus on Computer Arts, specifically in Web Design & New Media.
