Aurore Saudemont

VP Biology at Xap Therapeutics

Aurore Saudemont is currently serving as the VP of Biology at Xap Therapeutics since November 2023. Prior to this role, Aurore held various positions at GSK from November 2016 to November 2023, including Scientific Director for Functional Genomics and Director of Cell and Gene Therapy Discovery Research. From 2009 to October 2016, Aurore was a Group Leader at Anthony Nolan and UCL, focusing on the identification and clinical translation of cord blood cell products for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cancer immunotherapy. Earlier experience includes postdoctoral research positions at The Babraham Institute and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, examining aspects of NK cell function and T cell responses to cancer. Aurore earned a PhD in Haematology from Université de Lille 2 between 1998 and 2004.
